Usually, (unless of course your baby had an accident on The Plush Pad while changing) most customers wash the outer cover with their pillow case linens, and the inner cover with their inner pillow cover linens.

The Plush Pad will hold up to washings similar to any higher end bed linens with similar washing frequency.
